Microdosing can lead to profound internal shifts. What does it feel like to Microdose? It feels like you have come home. It feels like being centred in a way that is completely foreign to your usual state of being while simultaneously feeling so natural it’s hard to believe that you could possibly exist in any other way. It feels like stepping into your most truest, raw, honest, simple state without moving into a deeper realm of consciousness or what we may more commonly call getting “high”. You are completely compos mentis, capable of continuing with your everyday activity with a sense of peace, understanding and non-judgement, towards yourself, your emotions and your desires.
The extent of this state of course is relevant to where you currently are. Someone with chronic depression for example, may for the first time in years feel simply ok, or positive or content which is a huge leap forward from how they usually feel. Where someone in a more stable emotional state will have increased feelings of alignment.
With Microdosing, the user takes a “micro” dose, which is a fraction of the usual amount of their desired substance, usually LSD, Psilocybin Mushrooms, Iboga or other psychedelics. The experience will not make the user “high”, if it does they have taken too much and are no longer microdosing. A microdose will give you a sense of mental clarity, awareness and easy access to the subconscious mind allowing you to find resolve for unanswered questions, unintegrated traumas, blocked emotions, energy and limiting beliefs. It will also put you in a state of lesser resistance allowing you to integrate your new found understanding of yourself much more easily.
IN MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, MICRODOSING OPENED UP MY MIND TO THE POSSIBILITY OF THE LEVEL OF SELF-AWARENESS I CAN ACTUALLY HOLD IN MY EVERYDAY LIFE. FOLLOWING THE SESSIONS MY ALREADY EXPANDED AWARENESS EXPANDED FURTHER TO MEET THE POSSIBILITIES MICRODOSING SHOWED ME.
Anecdotal data suggests that microdosing enhances creativity, stabilizes the mood and gives a calm and relaxing feeling while making it possible to continue a normal daily routine. Not yet scientifically tested, but through a plenitude of individual reports we know that it also helps with anxiety and depression by promoting emotional and physical changes and an overall enhanced well-being. Many microdosers have stated that it improves unhealthy eating and sleep patterns, lowers chronic pain and helps to solve conflict within relationships. We have found that it also increases the ability of introspection, meditation and realignment of heart and mind.

HOW TO MICRODOSE
The following method is suggested by Dr. James Fadiman, the prime researcher in the area of microdosing:
Microdosing Therapy consists of 10 microdosing cycles over the course of 30 days.
The full course of microdosing can be used to work on a specific personal struggle such as disorder eating, anxiety, fears, creative blocks etc. Or for personal transformation and growth with different evolving intentions on each microdosing day or for anything you wish to explore further within yourself.
One microdosing cycle consists of 3 days.
You will begin with the first microdose, taken on day 1, this is followed by a 2 day break bringing you to day 3. On the 4th day the second microdose is taken. This continues for 10 cycles over the course of 30 days.
On the 1st day you take the microdose in the morning after waking up (taking it later than 10am may disturb your sleep that evening). You can continue with your daily routine as normal (drinking and eating included). You will feel the effects of the substance start after about half an hour.
THIS CAN BE A SUBTLE FEELING, REMEMBER YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FEEL HIGH, SO THIS IS A SUBTLE YET REMARKABLE CHANGE IN YOUR AWARENESS. YOU WILL FEEL YOUR INTERNAL, EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL RESISTANCE LESSENING.
Personal questions will be easier to answer, emotions will be easier to access, creative blockages may be released. Usually your mind will calm down and you will feel your authentic self; meaning the microdose will help you to let go of fears and old unhealthy belief patterns allowing you to recognize, remember and express your individual uniqueness. In all likelihood you will feel these gentle effects linger on until the end of the 2nd day. You will most likely feel very aware and emotionally sensitive on day 2. On the 3rd day, you have a day to reflect on and integrate the experience. On the 4th day, the next cycle begins.
- Monday (Day 1) : You take your first microdose and will feel its mild but life altering effects.
- Tuesday (Day 2): No substance is taken. You may still feel some light (or in some cases more intense) effects. Insights and clarity will likely continue to flow. Emotions will continue to arise.
- Wednesday (Day 3): No substance is taken. You will feel no effects. The new insights gained from the experience will still feel fresh. You can take this day to reflect and integrate the attained new knowledge about yourself.
- Thursday (Day 4): You take the second microdose.
HOW MUCH IS A MICRODOSE?
LSD: Between 5 and 20 micrograms. Start out with 10 micrograms and feel if this dosage is right for you. Adjust more or less accordingly, not exceeding 20 micrograms. If you feel high, this is no longer a microdose, you have taken too much. Enhanced awareness is what you should expect to feel, not high.
Psilocybin: Between 0,5 and 2 milligrams. Start out with 1 milligram.
Psilocybin Mushrooms: Between 0,2 and 0,5 grams. Start out with 0,3 grams.
Psychedelic Truffle: Between 1 and 2 grams. Start out with 1,5 grams.
1-P-LSD: Between 12 and 45 micrograms. Start out with 25 micrograms.
Iboga: Between 4 and 6 mg. Start out with 5 mg.
* For all other psychedelics: A microdose is 1/10 to 1/20 of a full dose.
Start out with the suggested amounts and find the right dosage for you personally.
REMEMBER: IF YOU FEEL HIGH, YOU HAVE TAKEN TOO MUCH. THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM IN THE MOMENT, SIMPLY BE PRESENT WITH YOURSELF AND YOUR EMOTIONS AND ALLOW THEM TO FLOW. BUT DO NOTE THE AMOUNT FOR YOUR NEXT DOSE AND ADJUST ACCORDINGLY.
If for any reason, you feel like you cannot handle the experience due to an uncomfortable, unpleasant feeling or an increase in anxiety, we recommend you end the therapy and stop taking the substance.
SETTING AN INTENTION – DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!
Microdosing allows mental clarity, helps to release resistance to emotions and allows deep access to the dormant aspects of the self. While this is astonishing in itself, you can improve the experience by setting an intention which activates your receptivity.
MICRODOSING OPENS THE DOORS TO NAVIGATE THROUGH THE MAPS OF THE UNCONSCIOUS AND THE INTENTION WILL HELP YOU MASTER THE DIRECTION.
Would you like to understand something about yourself? Would you like answers to the unresolved questions that repeatedly play in your mind? Would you like to let go of mental or emotional blocks? Change a belief pattern or understand where it came from? Set an intention and the mild effects of the psychedelic substance of your choice will help you to guide yourself to your own inner wisdom. This will return you to who you are (or you will get to know yourself for the very first time) and bring you in touch with your inner power. You will be able to look at your pain, your stories and your beliefs and turn them into your strengths.
Write down or use audio or video to record your experiences, so that you can better remember and reflect upon them on a later date.
HOW TO MEASURE A MICRODOSE?
LSD: LSD is usually found as an invisible single drop (usually 100 to 250 micrograms) on a small square piece of paper squares called a blotter (usually with a picture on it). Make sure you know how many micrograms the blotter contains. If you get a 100 microgram blotter, put the paper into a litre of distilled water and let it sit overnight. Each 100 millilitre will contain 10 microgram of LSD. If you get a 200 microgram blotter, put the paper into a litre of distilled water. This way, each 50 millilitre will hold 10 microgram of LSD.
You may cut your blotter into pieces, but that will be more difficult to dose.
When the LSD is in liquid form; there are usually 100 micrograms in a drop. Put one drop into a litre of water and each 100 millilitre will hold 10 microgram of LSD. You can also put a drop in a dropper and add 10 drops of distilled water. When mixed, each drop will contain 10 micrograms. If you have the choice, this is the simpler form to choose from.
Store the bottle in your fridge to ensure it maintains its properties.
MUSHROOMS: Finely grind dry mushrooms to a powder in a coffee grinder and put the powder into capsules. Measure it with a microbalance. If mushrooms are fresh, they must be dried first.
RISKS OF MICRODOSING
So far, the research in this realm shows that microdosing is not damaging or dangerous. A few of Dr. James Fadiman’s subjects have conveyed undesirable effects. One withdrew from the practice because it was conjuring up more than required emotions, while two others complained that they sweat more than usual on the days when they micro-dose. Out of those who spoke of excessive sweating; one was using LSD and the other was using mushrooms. It was not clear whether sweating was part of the healing, or just an unusual side effect.
Note: Suppressed emotions can create and hold on to toxic waste in our bodies, so it is very possible, although not investigated in these cases that the release of excessive sweat could be related to the detoxifying effects of emotional release.
