WHAT TO EXPECT…

THE CURE FOR PAIN IS IN THE PAIN – RUMI

A giant monkey frog named Phyllomedusa Bicolor living in the trees of the Amazonian Jungle produces a waxy, poisonous secretion with a powerful curative effect called Kambo.

During our ceremonies, you will first start out with drinking 1.5-2 litres of water. The water will help to purge toxins and negative frequencies. The frog poison is applied on small circular surface burns on your skin. These dots remove a layer of the skin for the venom to enter directly into the lymphatic system.

Almost directly a feeling of warmth follows. The effects of Kambo will likely make your heart race and your eyes water. Your face and throat may swell and your muscles may cramp. Be prepared to feel uncomfortable and slightly intoxicated for a time period of 5-30 minutes, occasionally longer until you purge out the water either through vomit and diarrhea, which will bring a sense of liberation.

With a rich cocktail of more than 100 chemical compounds the Kambo venom will overload and rearrange your nervous system to change your neurochemistry. And then ….it will make you purge. The vomit will set free what kept you locked in a place of emotional and mental captivity, and leave you with a feeling of absolute relief, leading to an increase in your vital energy and overall sense of wellness.

Kambo is composed of peptide substances that are analgesic and anti-inflammatory and improve the immune system by killing bad bacteria, viruses and parasites. Kambo is know to treat brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, migraines, blood circulation problems, depression. It helps to heal eyesight, skin disease, fertility problems, AIDS, cancer, candida, hepatitis, herpes, and more. Kambo has the reputation to be the world’s best natural antibiotic, and builds up the immune system through the body’s production of antibodies.

PRECAUTIONS

BE PREPARED FOR THESE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

PSYCHOLOGICAL EFFECTS:

• Disorientation

PHYSICAL EFFECTS:

• Dehydration
• Mild Tachycardia (above normal heart rate)
• Swelling of the face (this calms down as soon as the purging ends which is within 7-30 minutes of application)

DO NOT TAKE KAMBO WHEN YOU…

• Have heart problems or previous bypass surgery.
• Are pregnant.
• Have blood clots.
• Have Addison’s disease.
• Have high or low blood pressure.
• Are too young or too old to endure the intense physical experience.
• Had an organ transplant surgery.
• Had or have bulimia. The physically purging effect can cause a relapse.
• Are addicted to opioids because Kambo creates a strong opiod response.
• Have had an enema, colonic, liver flush 3 days prior to the experience.
• Have consumed alcohol or other recreational substances 48 hours before your treatment.

LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE…

• Take dieting or sleeping supplements.
• Have a drug or alcohol addiction.
• Plan to fast before or after the experience.
• Are menstruating.

PREPARATION DIET

• 10 hours fasting is required before you take Kambo.
• It is recommended to eat vegan for a few days prior to the ceremony. Try and avoid a lot of sugar, heavy starches, processed and fatty foods if possible.
• It is advisable not to drink alcohol or consume other psychoactive substances for 24 to 48 hrs before or after the intake.
• Allow yourself a minimum of 2-3 hours for treatment and recovery, ideally having the rest of the day off from work or stressful obligations.
• You will need to drink 2 liters of fresh spring water just prior to the application of the medicine.
• Menstruating woman will need to be aware flow will increase for up to 3 days after taking Kambo medicine.

Neither are we doctors who use Kambo as a clinical method of deep physical cleansing. We use our intuition and sensitivity along with our many years of experience working with emotional pain and severe trauma to hold space for your experience and create an environment in which you are energetically protected and feel safe.

While we deeply honor and respect traditional, indigenous traditions that have evolved over thousands of years and do encourage people to try them out, we also believe that they are not always best fitted for the western mindset. A new way of working needs to emerge in which we bridge western psychotherapy with shamanic traditions. We have experienced the medicine speaking to us and teach us how it wants to be used. We combine it with models of emotional processing, parts work to merge the fragmented aspects of the self as well as somatic exercises to accompany and deepen the process of the medicine. This extra layer of deep processing is often not offered during traditional ceremonies
